A forensic crime scene appeared at Moorgate and year 5/6 had a fantastic and thought-provoking morning figuring out who committed the crime! The safe had been broken into! Evidence that we came across involved: letters, suit jacket, glasses, footprints, fingerprints and DNA. The children had an amazing time figuring out the clues and the all played the role of ‘forensic scientist’ brilliantly. Not only did they learn about fingerprints (and how they’re unique), they also matched up DNA samples to our suspects. Using the clues, we found out who was guilty of the crime - CANDY MORRIS!
