This week we are learning all about money!! The children will be exploring financial issues such as managing budgets, different ways of spending, savings and the risks involved in borrowing. On Monday, we welcomed a visitor from the co-operative Bank in Tamworth. The children got to handle bank cards, money bags, cheques and paying in books. As part of my money week Early Years visited Morrisons to each buy an item as they were preparing their own hot snack. They compared the prices of everyday items such as butter, crumpets, jam and loafs of bread. They had to decide which was best value. Pupils paid for their items and collected their change before bagging it up.
