Recently, as part of their new topic: Moon Zoom! children in KS1 and EYFS were stunned to find an alien spacecraft had landed in their garden/on the field! Some of the children were brave enough to go up close and investigate! Since the crash EYFS children have been investigating the materials found at the crash site. They have described the texture and discovered if materials change when mixed with water. In KS1, children have been designing their own space rockets using 2d/3d shapes and also investigating how far a Mentoes powered rocket will travel!
